Canada’s
Largest Climate AI Hackathon
Held March 21-23, 2025, this event attracted over 2,200 applications from high school and university students across 25 countries. Approximately 550 participants were selected to compete in-person at University of Toronto’s Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship with an additional 150 participants competing online. Panels of judges awarded prizes based on innovation and impact with sponsorship from Google, Cohere, PwC, RBC, CGI and others.

One Degree Cooler is committed to empowering youth through green internships that link youth to actionable climate initiatives. We provide high school and college students with hands-on opportunities in sustainability projects, research and innovation, educational workshops, and mentorship from industry experts. By nurturing a global community of changemakers, we aim to equip youth with the tools and experiences necessary to drive meaningful climate action and build a more resilient and sustainable future.

EcoFair Toronto offers an inspiring platform to explore eco-friendly products, services, and ideas. Some participants include Toronto Hydro, GreenPeace Canada, Climate Fresk, etc. Through interactive exhibits, educational workshops, and engaging talks, participants can discover practical ways to live sustainably, support local green initiatives, and contribute to meaningful environmental change.
